Every weekend, when I'm out at Bootcamp in Preston Park in Brighton, I see upward of 500 people out running Parkrun (just as many also run the seafront Parkrun too). It's pretty inspiring to see how this free to join event run by volunteers has developed since that first ever event was held in Bushy park, Teddington, UK in 2004. And even more inspiring is how many people drag themselves out of bed on a Saturday mornining to go and do it. People of all ages right down to toddlers in pushchairs. Check out the link to this blog post for one park runners story.
